Important to note 

Day-to-day life happens. Kids, gym, DIY, cooking, contact with hard surfaces i.e.: kitchen top, door handles etc. – you know the deal.

We would like to keep our selection of Demi fine-ready pieces timeless and elegant. Thus pieces are dainty and should be owned and worn with caution. 

While it’s possible to have a piece returned to us so that its original finish can be restored.  

This will charged according to the warranty period and it is important to note. 

There is *no warranty on sterling silver and 14ct plated pieces.

Warranty 

  • 14ct Gold Plated: No Warranty
  • Fine and sterling silver:  No warranty
  • Gold Vermeil: 6 months from the date of original purchase
  • 9ct and 18ct Solid Gold: 1 year from the date of original purchase

Simply send your jewellery back to us and we’ll give it a thorough clean and polish, and check everything is in order. 

We can quote you on the cost of re-doing the finish.

Please note that slight irregularities and variations in craftsmanship are unique and individual to each item. 

Some examples of common jewellery issues. 

  • Dents, knicks and scratches are inevitable as well and differently aligned stones are not considered a defect. 
  • Stones set 
  • Discolouration due to exposure to chemicals, make-up, swimming pools, hot tubs or bathing. General day-to-day as above. 
  • Loss of earring backing 
  • Loss of the whole earring 
  • Breakage due to catching on clothing, blankets or other objects 
  • Tangles or knots due to improper storage of jewellery that may cause breakage
  • Mini M pieces are worn by babies and toddlers. Tugging, shaking, lotion, oil etc. cause loosening, discolouration and thinning of metals, cotton and stones.


REFUNDS


We offer exchange or STORE CREDIT within 7 days of the shipment date. We do not provide refunds.

All custom, personalised, special order and sale products (including single initials and custom sizes) are FINAL SALE and cannot be exchanged or returned for store credit. No exceptions.

Items that are marked final sale cannot be returned or exchanged.
Cancellations, changes, or returns are not allowed on personalised styles as they are made to order and are FINAL SALE.

Store credit will be issued, provided that the jewellery has not been damaged (Tangled, scratched etc.), worn, or altered.

Your items must be returned in the original packaging, including any pouches or boxes that the jewellery was shipped in.

Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

Photos on listings, unless specifically stated otherwise, are an example of a past product that was made. Custom pieces will differ.

The approximate details of each piece are specified.


HOW DO I SEND AN ITEM BACK?

  • STEP 1: Please contact orders@ayesham.co.za within 3 days of delivery with your order number, the first and last name the order was placed under, and an explanation of why you wish to return or exchange your item(s). Please include a picture
  • STEP 2: Before you send the return, please ensure the item is in the original packaging and in a shipping box to avoid further damage. Sending in an envelope may damage the item further.
  • STEP 3: Ship the item to the return address via insured mail service, such as Courier Guy, Fastway etc and insure the package for the cost of the item. If we do not receive your return package as described above we reserve the right to refuse your return.

Ayesha M jewellery is not responsible for returning items lost or damaged in the mail.
